Fire Protection

As recently experienced with our worse fire season for decades, fire can decimate critical service infrastructure and the social, environmental and economic consequences can be substantial. At Superior Systems, we understand that it is essential to facilitate appropriate passive and active  fire protection measures during project installation and design stages.

In addition to the design and installation of fire indicator panels, heat and smoke detectors and high sensitivity VESDA systems, we also incorporate passive elements into our designs including construction of fire-rated walls and rooms to safeguard critical equipment and prevent the spread of fire throughout a facility.  

In buildings with existing fire detection systems we ensure our air-conditioning and electrical systems are integrated into the building’s existing fire protection strategies, and their operation is designed to be intuitive and simple, even in emergency conditions.

And our expertise doesn’t stop with the installation of proprietary systems.

Superior Systems engineers designed a dedicated Building Alarm Collector (BAC) panel from the ground up.  This Australian Made alarm collector has the ability to receive and transmit, both low and high level, fire, security, and plant alarms to centralised client alarm management centres.

To date, over 300 of these systems have been installed across every state and territory in Australia.
